Submitting a Website to Abacus Construction Index UK
Abacus Construction Index UK, founded in 2000, is a
well established and popular source of guidance for people purchasing building
products. Together with its USA version, it receives over 30,000 unique visitors per
month.
We are always pleased to consider websites for inclusion. No payment is sought or accepted from included websites, but since November 7th 2008 the following policy has been in effect for newly submitted websites:
a. The website must represent a manufacturer or supplier of building products for the UK market (with an office or factory in the UK) and must be judged by us to be of good quality. We make this judgement on the basis of content and clarity.
b. The front page of the website must have a Google Page Rank of at least 3. This figure was 2 prior to March 1st 2012.
c. The website must be willing, if selected for inclusion in Abacus Construction Index, to insert the following wording at the bottom of its front page: 'This website is recommended by Abacus Construction Index'. The words Abacus Construction Index must be a link, which can be followed by search engines such as Google, to http:/www.archinet.co.uk.
d. Websites conforming to this new submission policy will be listed on up to three relevant product pages.
